Mission & Goals
The charity organization Apostoli of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens was founded in 2010 as a non-profit organization with national and international scope, which is mainly engaged in the humanitarian and development field. Apostoli aims at the systematic and dynamic participation in projects with both humanitarian and other development dimension, it focuses on the areas of social welfare, cohesion and welfare, health, culture, and the environment in Greece as well as globally, providing services to more than 225.000 people per month. Apostoli’s humanitarian projects in Greece face the challenge of the increasing deprivation of people experiencing poverty or are at the threshold of poverty. On a monthly basis, the following Apostoli’s programs support 212.982 persons through Soup kitchens, Social Grocery Shops-Food Banks, distribution of food parcels, baby kits to: 1) families with many children, 2) socially vulnerable families, 3) students, the elderly, s
