Mission & Goals
The American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) is the leading business association in Romania connecting U.S., international, and Romania companies to business opportunities, and facilitating a policy-industry dialogue focused on increasing Romania’s investment profile. AmCham Romania's community includes nearly 600 companies, from large American, International, and Romanian enterprises to local SMEs and startups, active in 32 business sectors, with total investment in Romania above USD 30 bn and employing 250.000 people. Since 1993, AmCham Romania has advocated for transparency and predictability of economic policies and championed increased business and investment exchanges between Romania and the United States of America. AmCham Romania is an accredited member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and part of the AmChams in Europe network.
