Mission & Goals
Alonso & Associates is a professional law and consulting firm, with the goal of advancing our clients' interests before EU institutions. With an experience of over 35 years, we believe in an open, accessible and transparent European institutions where private and public interest find common ground for the benefit of its citizens.
EU Legislative Interests
The main European Union policies targeted by Alonso & Associates include transport of goods and passengers; agri-food industry, with a focus of imports from third-countries; construction materials and regulation of chemicals; protection of the environment and reduction of CO2 emissions by industry; improving transparency on the management of European Union funds, particularly NextGenerationEU; among others.
Communication Activities
Alonso & Associates has organised events at the European Parliament hosted by Members of the European Parliament, with participation of both industry and other stakeholders, and institutions (European Commission, Council, Committee of the Regions, etc.). We have also engaged with the European Ombudsman and held cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union. These actions and events have been made for the advancement of our clients positions, always in respect with transparency rules and providing a balanced approach, with different perspectives on the topic.
