Mission & Goals
Allied For Startups is the policy voice of startups in the EU and worldwide. The organisation seeks to promote entrepreneurship and startups in industry and commerce, and to advance education and science by encouraging and growing entrepreneurship, and in particular digital entrepreneurship. The organisation works on a global network basis whereby its members are themselves regional and national trade associations, charities and not for profit organisations representing and supporting startups, entrepreneurs, investors, charities, and advocacy organisations. The main goals of the organisation are: 1) Building and maintaining a global network of startups, entrepreneurs, investors, charities, and advocacy organisations, 2) Raising awareness of, and creating a worldwide consensus on, entrepreneurship, 3) Decreasing the barriers to innovation, 4) Seeking to create consensus on policies that can positively impact on entrepreneurship and innovation at an EU and global level.

Communication Activities
The organisation seeks to establish contact between the startup community and policymakers in the European institutions as well as relevant bodies and agencies. Further, it seeks to serve as a reliable source for policymakers to receive information about startups and digital entrepreneurship, to this extent the organisation is involved in events and other public activities. We connect our members to EU institutions using a variety of methods, from events, in-person and online engagement to work with the press, newsletters and social media. These publications are housed on our website, as is a list of events in which we take part.
