Alliance2015

Mission & Goals

Alliance2015 is a secular strategic partnership of 7 European development NGOs founded in 2000. Alliance2015 was originally established to strengthen its members’ contribution to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). In line with the new framework provided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Alliance2015 members seek to increase their impact on poverty reduction and aid effectiveness, to contribute to communities’ resilience and effective emergency preparedness and response, and to influence development and humanitarian policies in Europe. Specific Alliance2015 objectives and strategy: Building climate resilient pathways, in order to drive more equitable and effective humanitarian and development outcomes. Transforming food systems to tackle hunger and malnutrition, prioritising sustainability, equity and the needs and rights of those who are marginalised. Contributing to more effective and inclusive local-to-global civil society collaboration.
