Mission & Goals
The Alliance for mRNA Medicines (AMM) is an organization dedicated to advancing and advocating for mRNA and next-generation encoding RNA therapeutics and vaccines for the benefit of patients, public health, and society. Our mission is to propel the future of mRNA medicine, improve patients’ lives, and advance scientific knowledge by convening and empowering mRNA industry leaders, innovators, scientists, and other key stakeholders.
EU Legislative Interests
AMM focuses on mRNA supply, production, manufacturing, discovery, and workforce organizations. AMM also monitors and analyzes initiatives, policies, legislation, and regulations impacting the mRNA industry. In addition to participating in numerous public consultations and industry stakeholder workshops on multiple topics within the mRNA sphere, AMM and its members are engaged in bringing about regulatory harmonization between the European Medicines Agency and other global counterparts. AMM also follows initiatives and policies on innovation in bioscience, biomanufacturing, pharmaceutical distribution, and other pressing issues of interest to the pharmaceutical industry. This includes the EU General Pharmaceuticals Legislation.
Communication Activities
AMM maintains a communications/public relations program with an emphasis on European Union and United States legislative, regulatory, and business issues affecting mRNA-related organizations. In addition to traditional media, AMM is active on social media through LinkedIn.
