Mission & Goals
The ALCCC was created to steer the sector towards viable decarbonisation pathways. Our network brings together frontrunners throughout the entire cement and concrete value chain, jointly committed to advance to a net-zero value chain by 2040. Mature and proven technologies exist, yet need to become the norm. Membership of the ALCCC includes, but is not limited to, leading supply and demand side actors; innovative start and scale-ups; multinational enterprises and European/international environmental NGOs. Our joint ambition is to promote the uptake of material innovations in cement and concrete manufacture which have the potential to drastically speed up decarbonisation. This is possible with the right policies and standards in place.
