Allegro is a European tech leader and the most popular e-commerce platform in CEE (PL, CZ, SK, HU) gathering together 20 million customers each month and more than100 thousand professional merchants, mostly SMEs. Established in Poland in 1999, Allegro has become an online marketplace specializing primarily in the sale of new products under business-to-consumer (B2C) model. Allegro offers products in all key categories. The company employs over 6000 people, including the region's largest talent pool of software and hardware engineers. The company’s ambition is to support the digital transformation of the EU economy by encouraging more people to shop online and support entrepreneurs in starting and developing their e-commerce business.
