Mission & Goals
Alice & Bob is a European quantum computing company developing fault-tolerant quantum computers based on superconducting cat-qubits. Its objective is to make useful quantum computing achievable within an industrial timeframe by reducing the hardware overhead required for quantum error correction through noise-biased qubit design. The company works across the full hardware stack, including chip design and fabrication, cryogenic control electronics, logical-qubit architectures and system integration. Alice & Bob aims to move beyond laboratory prototypes toward deployable systems integrated into high-performance computing infrastructures and used by research and industrial partners. Through collaborations with HPC centres, semiconductor partners and end-users, the organisation contributes to the emergence of a European quantum industry and to the delivery of commercially relevant fault-tolerant quantum computing for applications such as chemistry, materials and optimisation.
