Communication Activities
For the purpose of representing interests, discussions are held with representatives of the EU Parliament, the EU Commission and the bodies of the member states. The aim of the representation of interests is to provide practical impetus for the good implementation of regulatory proposals. The basis for the exchange with political representatives is provided primarily by position papers on specific regulatory proposals. In these, we provide information about the challenges of regulatory proposals and suggest solutions for practical implementation. Furthermore, ALDI Nord participates in exchange and information events of various political and non-political stakeholders (including EuroCommerce). The representation of interests focuses on issues related to energy, agriculture, the environment and transport.
