Mission & Goals
ALBKOS Safety is dedicated to delivering advanced fire protection and life safety solutions that safeguard people, property, and the environment. Our core mission is the design, installation, and maintenance of high-quality fire detection and suppression systems, in full compliance with national and international standards. We operate at both national and regional levels, collaborating with public institutions and private stakeholders to enhance safety awareness, infrastructure resilience, and emergency preparedness. In line with the European Green Deal, ESG principles, and the EU’s circular economy objectives, ALBKOS Safety is committed to promoting sustainable technologies, resource efficiency, and environmental stewardship across all operations. We actively support the transition to greener, safer buildings and industrial processes, contributing to the EU’s broader climate, health, and safety goals.
EU Legislative Interests
Main EU legislative proposals or policies targeted: 1. Regulation on Construction Products (Proposal COM/2022/144 final) — Supports improved fire safety, product performance, and sustainability in the construction sector. ALBKOS Safety engages with this regulation to ensure fire protection systems meet both safety and environmental standards, in alignment with circular economy goals. 2. Directive on the Energy Performance of Buildings (Recast) (COM/2021/802 final) — Promotes energy-efficient and climate-resilient buildings. ALBKOS Safety supports fire safety integration within green building initiatives, helping to deliver safe and sustainable renovation aligned with the European Green Deal. 3. EU Strategy for a Sustainable Built Environment — Encourages the adoption of sustainable, circular, and fire-safe construction practices. Our activities contribute to making the built environment safer, greener, and more resource-efficient, in line with ESG frameworks. 4. EU Green Deal – Renovation Wave Strategy — Aims to decarbonize and modernize Europe's building stock. ALBKOS Safety promotes fire safety as a core component of resilient and energy-efficient renovations, contributing to both climate neutrality and occupant protection. 5. Sustainable Products Regulation (COM/2022/142 final) — Enhances product durability, safety, and circularity. We support standards for sustainable fire protection systems that align with eco-design principles and ESG requirements. 6. EU Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2021–2027 — Focuses on improving workplace health and safety, including fire risk prevention. ALBKOS Safety contributes through expertise in fire safety infrastructure and training, reinforcing social aspects of ESG. 7. Proposal for a Regulation on Ecodesign for Sustainable Products (COM/2022/142 final) — Establishes sustainability criteria for product design. ALBKOS Safety advocates for the inclusion of safety and environmental impact considerations in fire protection system components.
Communication Activities
Communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.) related to the EU policies above: ALBKOS Safety is registering in the EU Transparency Register to engage proactively with EU institutions on policy and regulatory developments in the areas of fire safety standards, civil protection, construction product regulation, and safety-related innovation. Our interest representation includes following and contributing to EU initiatives related to the harmonisation of technical standards, cross-border product certification, sustainable public procurement, and the digital integration of fire protection systems—such as smart monitoring, Building Management Systems (BMS), and IoT-based technologies. We monitor legislative developments that impact the design, deployment, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression technologies across EU Member States. In support of these efforts, ALBKOS Safety plans to participate in relevant public consultations, stakeholder forums, and expert workshops organised by EU institutions and agencies. Additionally, we aim to contribute to the dialogue around the European Green Deal, ESG implementation in the safety sector, and the circular economy by sharing technical insights, promoting innovation, and engaging in awareness-raising activities—through technical publications, collaborative campaigns, and events focused on sustainable and resilient building safety.
