Akademia Ora Sh.p.k. is a private educational institution focused on providing innovative primary and secondary education tailored to 21st-century learning needs. The organization aims to: Deliver high-quality, student-centered education using modern pedagogical methods and digital tools. Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among children and adolescents. Promote multilingual learning, STEM education, and global citizenship values. Create an inclusive and safe learning environment where each student can thrive academically and personally. Support continuous teacher development and collaboration with international education networks. Akademia Ora is committed to shaping future-ready learners equipped for both local and global challenges.

EU Legislative Interests

Main EU legislative proposals or policies targeted: Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning (2018/C 189/01) – Promoting the development of essential competences such as digital literacy, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and social skills in primary and secondary education. Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027 – Supporting high-quality and inclusive digital education systems, fostering innovation in teaching and learning through the integration of digital tools and platforms. Council Recommendation on blended learning approaches for high-quality and inclusive primary and secondary education (2021/C 504/03) – Encouraging the combination of in-person and digital learning methods to enhance access and quality in education. European Strategy for Universities (2022) – While primarily focused on higher education, this strategy promotes innovation and connectivity throughout the education sector, including at the primary and secondary levels. European Education Area (EEA) initiative – Aims to build a unified European Education Area by 2025, supporting inclusive and high-quality education systems across Europe. In addition, Akademia Ora aims to actively participate in EU-funded education programmes such as Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe (Cluster 2 – Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society), with the goal of developing cross-border partnerships, teacher training, student exchange opportunities, and innovative curriculum development aligned with EU education and digital transformation goals.

Communication Activities

Communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.) related to the EU policies above: Organization of awareness-raising events and workshops for students, teachers, and parents on key EU education initiatives, including digital literacy, green skills, and inclusive learning. Participation in Erasmus+ information sessions and networking events at the national and regional level to prepare for strategic partnerships and mobility projects. Launch of a school newsletter and blog featuring content aligned with EU educational policies, such as project-based learning, environmental sustainability, and use of digital tools in the classroom. Celebration of Europe Day and International Education Week with activities highlighting the importance of EU values, multilingualism, and cross-cultural exchange. Hosting of teacher training sessions inspired by the EU's Digital Education Action Plan and Key Competences for Lifelong Learning. Engagement through social media campaigns to promote the role of innovation and digital transformation in education, using hashtags and messaging connected to EU education policy.

Akademia Ora Sh.p.k. is cooperating with the following organisations and networks: Kosovo Private Education Network (KPEN) – A national platform supporting the development and representation of private educational institutions. Kosovo Chamber of Commerce – Collaborates on educational-business partnerships and youth entrepreneurship initiatives. eTwinning network (EU) – A European Commission platform for schools to collaborate on international projects and promote digital learning. School Education Gateway (EU) – Active user and contributor to the platform supporting EU-wide exchange of good practices in school education. Western Balkans School Network (WBSN) – A regional informal network promoting cross-border educational cooperation in the Western Balkans. Erasmus+ National Agencies Contact Points (via cooperation events) – Participation in consultations, partnership building activities, and training sessions. These memberships and affiliations help Akademia Ora stay aligned with EU educational policies, enhance its international profile, and strengthen its capacity to implement innovation-driven projects.

Organisation Members

Akademia Ora Sh.p.k. is a privately-owned educational institution and does not operate under a membership-based structure. As such, it does not have individual or institutional members in the traditional sense. However, the organisation maintains affiliated collaborations with the following entities: Partner schools and training centers in Kosovo and the Western Balkans for educational exchanges and joint projects. External consultants and pedagogical experts, engaged for curriculum development and innovation in teaching methodologies. EU-based institutions and platforms through participation in initiatives such as eTwinning and Erasmus+ cooperation activities. Information on our institutional structure and partnerships is available upon request or can be shared via future project proposals.

Additional Information

Akademia Ora Sh.p.k. operates as a private educational institution providing innovative primary and secondary schooling services. The organisation is fully self-financed through tuition fees and private investment. At present, the institution has not received any EU funding directly or indirectly, and it does not have any subsidiary companies involved in separate financial arrangements. All staff members are paid employees, and no unpaid representatives or pro-bono activities are currently undertaken. Operating costs are primarily focused on educational delivery, infrastructure, digital tools, and staff development, in line with national education standards. The institution maintains a lean administrative structure and currently has limited budget allocation for lobbying or interest representation activities at the EU level.
