Mission & Goals
The association's goal is to give young people a voice in the defense and promotion of human rights in Europe, with an emphasis on freedom of expression, equality, and civic participation. Its responsibilities include: - Conducting advocacy efforts with the European Parliament and EU institutions to strengthen the protection of fundamental rights. - Raising awareness among European citizens and decision-makers about issues related to human rights and youth participation. - Creating spaces for dialogue, training, and cooperation to encourage the civic and democratic engagement of European youth.
EU Legislative Interests
Main EU legislative proposals or policies targeted Our association focuses on EU policies and legislative initiatives related to human rights, youth participation and democratic engagement, including in particular: - EU Youth Strategy (2019–2027) – to strengthen youth participation and civic engagement across Europe. - EU Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy (2020–2024, and its successor) – to promote and protect fundamental rights inside and outside the EU. - Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union – monitoring and advocating for its effective implementation. - European Democracy Action Plan – supporting transparency, participation and protection of fundamental freedoms. - Relevant initiatives under the European Education Area and Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme that aim to empower young people and civil society.
Communication Activities
The association organizes information and inspiration sessions and participates in initiatives that raise young people's awareness. It actively seeks dialogue with members of the European Parliament and other EU institutions to contribute to openness, diversity and the protection of young people's rights and involvement in society.
