Mission & Goals

The Association which is without any profit-making aim has a scientific purpose in order to study all problems relating to the air transport industry worldwide, to search for solutions and seek common positions, to provide information for members and represent them vis-à-vis the companies, organisations and authorities involved in the sector, in particular the European institutions. The Association shall concern itself with the promotion of safe and efficient air transport. To this end, it shall represent as broadly as possible the various sectors of activity involved directly or indirectly in international air transport. The Association shall study and formulate appropriate policies and shall undertake all activities aimed at the proper function and development of air transport systems, primarily in the leisure sector, shall promote air safety and shall develop communication and co-operation both between its members, and between its members and the companies.
