Mission & Goals

The ADRA community spans across Europe, bringing together a diverse network of AI, Data, and Robotics innovators, industry leaders, research institutions, and policymakers. With 200+ member organisations and a rapidly growing network, ADRA serves as the key driver of European collaboration, fostering the development and deployment of cutting-edge ADR technologies. Our members represent a broad spectrum of expertise, ranging from fundamental research to real-world industrial applications, ensuring that Europe remains at the forefront of digital transformation. This pan-European network enables ADRA to actively support the AI, Data, and Robotics Partnership by promoting strategic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and cross-border innovation. Through its members, ADRA continues to create new opportunities for collaboration, funding, and impactful projects that shape the future of ADR in Europe.

EU Legislative Interests

1. Technology & Digital Policy We strive to build a harmonised and trustworthy Digital Single Market. Our engagement focuses on shaping core digital legislation, including the AI Act, Data Act, Digital Services Act (DSA), and cybersecurity frameworks like the NIS2 Directive and the Cyber Resilience Act. We provide technical expertise to ensure these regulations are innovation-friendly and workable. 2. Research & Innovation (R&I) Policy Our goal is to foster a world-class R&I ecosystem in Europe. We actively influence the strategic direction and biennial Work Programmes of Horizon Europe, the EU's flagship funding programme, advocating for simplified participation rules and fair intellectual property (IP) provisions. 3. Regulatory Policy & Better Regulation This horizontal commitment ensures all EU policy is evidence-based, proportionate, and predictable. We champion the EU’s Better Regulation principles across all our advocacy work.
