Mission & Goals
The AI Art Lab (“AAL”) is a public interest company established to advance AI literacy through art and to promote Creative AI: innovation at the intersection of art and technology. The company focuses on six core activities: (a) a Public Lecture Series, (b) an Artist Training Program, (c) Art Exhibitions, (d) a Start-Up Incubator, (e) AI Creative Advisory Services, and (f) a Research Center. AAL collaborates with existing and emerging AI initiatives, partnering with government, academia, civil society and the business community to create a sustainable ecosystem for innovation in AI and art. Based in Luxembourg, AAL leverages the EU’s resources and contributes to shaping the EU’s AI policy. With international programming in the EU, Japan and the UAE, the Lab fosters public engagement, supports the creative industries and advocates for human-centric AI innovation in the arts.
EU Legislative Interests
We are focused on public literacy. We believe that the EU's focus on "trustworthy" and "human centric" AI requires a commitment to public literacy so that the general public and non-STEM professionals can understand and share AI policy.
Communication Activities
We advocate in general for AI literacy in various capacities: including participation in international conferences, such as the Osaka World Expo's Women In Tech Global Summit and Luxembourg's NEXUS technology summit.
