Mission & Goals
The purpose of the Agile Manufacturing Society is to promote the use of agile manufacturing methods in the manufacturing industry. Agile manufacturing methods comprise mechanical equipment, software and artificial intelligence that the retooling of industrial production facilities for different purposes in a very short time. The purpose of the Agile Manufacturing Society is realized in particular by informing the public about agile manufacturing methods in media coverage, promoting the inclusion of agile manufacturing methods in training and teaching, promoting research and development in connection with agile manufacturing methods informing politics and administration about agile manufacturing methods.
EU Legislative Interests
1. Promote the establishment of several EU based agile clouds, each with a LAM 2. Incentivize EU machinery manufacturers to develop Agile Machinery 3. Incentivize EU manufacturing companies to use Agile Manufacturing Systems 4. Incentivize EU based AI Agent providers to develop AI Agents for the LAM
Communication Activities
The Agile Manufacturing Society - participates either as attendees of as faculty members in conferences - meets with officials to explain Agile Manufacturing and its importance for their policy targets - produces documents about Agile Manufacturing and policy - communicates in electronic and conventional media about Agile Manufacturing and policy

Currently, the Agile Manufacturing Society is funding a number of events to promote Agile Manufacturing. Last year, it funded a research report prepared by the University of Navarra - IESE Business School on the topic of Agile Manufacturing in Europe.
