Agave Capital Management is a London-based global macro investment firm founded in 2024, with a mission to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns through a research-driven, diversified investment process. EU Legislative Interests
We are seeking to better understand the EU's policies on regulating competition between different companies. This could include remedies, behavioral or structural in nature, during a proposed merger. We are also interested in the evolving scrutiny of competition policy when it concerns a foreign actor that either is controlled by a sovereign state or receives funding from such a state. Further, we are seeking to understand policies or changes to policies that could have an impact on: - Macro-economic and monetary policy developments at the EU or global level that may impact the investments of our clients. - Changes to EU fiscal governance, including revisions to fiscal rules and the Stability and Growth Pact. - Assessments undertaken within the European Semester, such as reviews of national draft budgets and stability programmes. - Geopolitical or enlargement-related initiatives and their potential economic implications.

Engaging with contacts at Union institutions, and advisors to those at Union institutions through attendance of certain meetings, and other types of event.
