Afton Chemical Corporation is part of the NewMarket Corporation(Opens in a new window) (NYSE: NEU) family of companies, and has been working in the fuel and lubricant additives marketplace for over 95 years. Our range of technology solutions includes Driveline, Engine Oils, Performance and Refinery Fuels, and Industrial additives. We use our formulation, engineering and marketing expertise to help our customers develop and market fuels and lubricants that reduce emissions, improve fuel economy, extend equipment life, improve operator satisfaction and lower the total cost of vehicle and equipment operation. We are focused on developing our technology and meeting specifications, but also on providing the differentiation our customers need to stand out.

Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and its amendments (REACH) Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 and its amendments and adaptations to technical progress(CLP) Regulation (EU) 649/2012 and its amendments

Communication Activities

Presentation of impacts, toxicological, exposure information and regulatory matters related to restriction and authorisation under REACH and introduction of harmonised classification under CLP. Attendance through industry association at consultations considering updates to chemcial legislation (specified above) and also under the green deal.
