Mission & Goals
The Advanced Packaging Association (APA) brings together the key polymer industry players who believe that polyamide (PA) is a sustainable, high-performance material for packaging applications. As part of its long-term strategy, APA seeks to unite stakeholders along the entire flexible packaging value chain (from food brands and retailers to film manufacturers and waste management entities) in order to: - raise awareness about the utility of multi-layer films containing PA, - provide resources and participate in knowledge sharing and, - ensure that the industry, policymakers, legislators, non-governmental organisations, and civil society fully recognize the sustainability benefits of multi-material packaging.
