Mission & Goals
ADS is the trade association for the UK’s aerospace, defence, security, and space industries, representing over 1,800 members, including SMEs, Midtiers and Primes. We work with those sectors to secure the UK’s advantage, enhance our international positioning as a go-to destination for innovation, and deliver on our sustainable leadership goals. Acting as a collective voice for industry, ADS submits responses to requests for evidence and consultations from the UK Ministry of Defence and other government departments, ensuring industry insight informs policy, capability development, and procurement decisions. We drive growth through export support, international engagement, and strategic programmes that strengthen competitiveness, innovation, and resilience across the defence industrial technological base.
