Mission & Goals
• Goal 1: Greater well-being of people living in poverty and distress (focus on holistic health and education programs underpinned by programs for secure and sustainable livelihoods). • Goal 2: The greater capacity to prevent, mitigate and respond to humanitarian emergencies (programming for greater resilience of people and communities vulnerable to conflict and natural disasters, including forced migration and the impact of climate-related weather events). • Goal 3: ADRA is a catalyst for social justice. The ADRA European Regional Office (ADRA-EUROPE) is responsible for influencing the decision-making processes on the European level to contribute to eradicating poverty worldwide. The office collaborates with and fosters partnerships within its European network and worldwide to achieve this mission. ADRA-EUROPE provides technical assistance to ADRA Country offices inside Europe. Each ADRA office, like ADRA-EUROPE, works independently.

Communication Activities
The campaign "Every Child. Everywhere. In School" is a global movement to ensure that every child and teenager, everywhere, attends school and completes their education so they can fulfil their full potential. Every child, everywhere, has the right to an education. Unfortunately, 244 million children around the world are currently denied this right. A child who is out of school is more vulnerable to human traffickers and recruitment by militias and at an increased risk of early marriage, teen pregnancy, and child labour. We want to extend the life-changing power of education to the most disadvantaged children – children in conflict zones, children in remote areas, children living in extreme poverty, and children who face discrimination because of their gender, disability, or ethnicity. To open the doors to education, we organise education summits: Education Accelerators and Education Incubators. The EDUCATION SUMMITs aim to provide a platform for international and cross-cultural dialogue with European decision-makers and people (especially children) from different parts of the world. Representatives of diverse communities can contribute to a broad vision for educational excellence and equity for all children and youth. The three aims of the summits are: a) To examine the key challenges facing access to education around the globe; b) To promote visionary thinking about making education accessible for all children; c) To explore a specific aspect of faith communities as local actors to bring every child, everywhere, in school. Action STEPS: 1) BRING TOGETHER experts in education, social innovators, investors in education, European decision-makers, people from faith-based organisations (FBOs) and other civil society organisations (CSOs), out-of-school children and teens, parents … 2) EXPLORE possible solutions and the role of FBOs in access to quality education. 3) ACCELERATE and promote solutions and good practices.
