Mission & Goals
Adif is the administrator of railway infrastructures in Spain. It is a public business entity, under the Ministry Transport, and in charge of the management of the railway network of General Interest. Among its tasks are, among other things, traffic management, capacity allocation or the construction of new sections when so ordered by the Ministry of Transport. Adif also represents Adif AV, the entity in charge of the construction and management of the high speed lines in Spain.
