ADF International is a faith-based legal advocacy organisation that protects fundamental freedoms and promotes the inherent dignity of all people.

Alliance Defending Freedom International is a group of affiliated entities with a common name and mission (see Section 7), but not registered under a common structure. Alliance Defending Freedom International offices are established locally in different countries with a view to maintaining a full-time presence at major international institutions. Alliance Defending Freedom International Belgium carries out its local remit by conducting European Union advocacy to uphold human rights such as freedom of speech, parental rights, freedom of religion, and freedom of conscience.
