Mission & Goals

The AAE brings together the actuarial associations in the European Union to represent the actuarial profession in discussion with the European Union institutions on existing and proposed EU legislation which has an impact on the profession. Advice and comments provided by the AAE on behalf of the European actuarial profession are totally independent of industry interests. The AAE also provides a forum for discussion amongst all actuarial associations throughout Europe. The Groupe currently has thirty-eight member associations in thirty-seven European countries, representing nearly 30,000 actuaries.
