Mission & Goals
Abrapa - the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers - was created on April 7, 1999, with its headquarters in Brasilia. Its purpose is to guarantee and increase the profitability of the sector by uniting and organizing its agents and to seek strategic sustainability, acting politically, socially and economically with the public and private sectors, promoting the expansion and improvement of production. Practicing results-based management from the outset, the Association has made a commitment to making Brazilian cotton growing increasingly well-known and competitive, both nationally and internationally. In a work of continuous improvement, four aspects have gained prominence over the years: quality, traceability, sustainability and promotion.
