Mission & Goals
APA's main objective is to raise awareness on the problems, current trends, needs and challenges faced by farmed land and sea animals, their harmonious coexistence in nature, aiming at supporting and/or creating structures, actions and programs, which can help address the above challenges. Furthermore, APA aims to protect, promote and advocate for the rights of farmed animals and in general the protection of the environment with a view to disseminate sustainable development efforts. Finally, APA seeks to participate in the public debate by submitting concrete proposals in the framework of discussions on the legislative process and aims to hasten adoption of new regulations or the improvement of the existing ones with the ultimate goal of harmonious coexistence of people and farmed animals, integrated in the wider natural environment.
