Mission & Goals
Maghweb is a no-profit organisation based in Palermo, Sicily. The staff is composed of educators, video-makers, journalists and project managers, who use their professional expertise to improve efficiency and visibility of activities related to social issues and international cooperation. Indeed Maghweb has been active for more than 5 years in the field of social communication, trying to develop sustainable and positive narratives, to cause in the audience a pro-active reaction. Maghweb has developed documentaries and reportages on international and local projects who have a strong social impact. Altogether its work in the field of social communication, Maghweb has carried out several projects for social development on different topics (gender violence, street art, storytelling, migration etc.).
