Mission & Goals
5Rights Foundation develops new policy, creates innovative projects and challenges received narratives to ensure governments, regulators, the tech sector and society understand, recognise and prioritise children’s needs and rights in the digital world. In all of our work, a child is anyone under the age of 18, in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Nov 25 Euroconsumer Forum in Brussels, Belgium. 5Rights spoke about “Europe race to a minor proof digital future”. Dec 25 Safer Internet Forum - Why age matters in Brussel, Belgium. 5Rights took part in “Breakthrough sessions on age verification” Dec 25 EurIPS, the first European side track for prestigious AI research symposium NeurIPS in Copenhagen, Denmark. 5Rights gave a keynote on AI and impacts on Child Rights for minoritised youth. Dec 25 Empowering Youth in the Online and Offline world in Brussels, Belgium. 5Rights spoke about “Youth and Democracy in the Digital Age”.
