Mission & Goals
Als weltweiter Dachverband des Biathlonsports zu fungieren; - eine führende Rolle in der Olympischen Bewegung zu spielen, insbesondere durch die Organisation, Überwachung und Durchführung des Biathlon-Programms bei den Olympischen Spielen; - mittels Wettkämpfen, Veranstaltungen, Programmen und anderen Aktivitäten die Teilnahme am Biathlonsport in der ganzen Welt zu fördern, weiterzuentwickeln und zu unterstützen - den Biathlonsport effizient und effektiv zu regeln, indem Regeln entwickelt werden, die von der IBU und/oder den NV-Mitgliedern anzuwenden und durchzusetzen sind, wo auch immer der Sport ausgeübt wird; - die Integrität des Biathlonsports und der IBU zu schützen, indem sie die höchsten Führungsstandards umsetzt und einen umfassenden und allgemein anwendbaren Integrity Code entwickelt und durchsetzt, wie in Artikel 29.7 näher dargelegt; - eine effiziente Verwaltung zur Kontrolle, Regelung und Leitung zu erhalten - die Organisation und Planung von Wettkämpfen zu (...)
