Mission & Goals

HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual – Founded by Dr. Lotte Salzberger is a human rights NGO assisting Palestinians living under the Israeli occupation. HaMoked provides free legal aid to Palestinians and promotes the enforcement of the standards and values of international humanitarian and human rights law. HaMoked provides individual assistance and conducts strategic litigation to protect detainee rights; residency rights in East Jerusalem and in the rest of the OPT; and freedom of movement; to contest collective punishments and to pursue accountability for violence by security forces.
